Sonata Arctica!
From their concert with Epica @ Sentrum Scene, Oslo, Norway 01.11.07
I love the softnes of it, it looks so soft I want to touch my screen! hehe... The tones are amazing too, makes it look so calm, yet I can see the energy in the performance by the little wrinkles on his forehead and between his eyebrows.
His arm is more in focus than his face, but maybe you could blur his arm down and make the photo look even softer?
I really like the different textures here, his skin, his hair, the different clothes etc. The stripes on his shirt do a wonderful job leading the eyes further down, which I guess is my reason for wanting a "longer" version of this photo. By that I mean more height; I want to see more of him.
Mhm, I think the face could've been a little sharper in this shot... I'll try to blur down his arm to see just how it looks, without ruining too much of the textures...because I really like the textures here too ^^
Actually I haven't cropped it much, just a little in the top and bottom. You wouldn't see below his waist anyway, in the original shot. And those parts were so dark that there wasn't really much going on in that area...so I cut it away..hehe.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment! Not too many of those these days.. Much appreciated!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
